At 1:13 AM this morning Eng 17-2 responded to the Boro Of Chambersburg in the 200 Blk Of E Liberty St for a house fire

Initial reports were that there was possible entrapment which turned out to be negative. First arriving units from Co 1 arrived O/S with heavy fire. Eng 17-2 arrived and laid a secondary supply line at Liberty & Third St and crews assisted with fire attack and overhaul operations. Co 17 volunteers operated O/S for approx 1 1/2 hours before being placed in service by Command 1.
